Day 1: Agra – One Day Sightseeing
Agra is a beautiful city full of architectural marvels. It is one of the favourite tourist destinations throughout the world. It is a home for iconic TajMahal and other ancient monuments. This Jaipur – Agra Same Day Tour by Caris specially designed to give you a glimpse of the city in a single day.
After breakfast in the hotel in Jaipur, we will leave for Agra by car early morning. On arrival we will first visit Agra Fort, which is a splendidly ornamented semi-circular red sandstone fort with dual ramparts and memorials. The Agra fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then we will proceed to visit Itmad-UdDaulah’s tomb. It is Mughal mausoleum and also referred as the 'Baby Taj' or "jewel box". It is a Mughal style white marble mausoleum, decorated with semi-precious stones.
By this time you will take your lunch in a fine restaurant and spend time in the local market. Then we will move to FatehpurSikri. It is a great architectural wonder and a home to many monuments. Here you will visit various palaces. Then we will go to the most awaited attraction of the tour, the Taj. We will visit TajMahal in the evening. At the time of sunset, the beauty and aura of Taj Mahal is at its peak.
After a full day in the Taj city, we will drive back to Jaipur. Our representative will drop you at your hotel in Jaipur.
